Privacy Policy
Version 1.1, effective 29 October 2026
This policy explains how Dossis Digital (ABN 50 140 793 623, the registered business name of The Trustee for Dossis Toffolon Family Trust) collects, uses, holds and discloses your personal information. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:
- contact and business details you give us (name, business name, email, phone, ABN, service areas);
- information you submit through our forms, intake questionnaire, calls and messages, including photos, logos and business details you upload;
- payment information, which is processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store your full card or bank account details;
- information about how you use our website, collected automatically through cookies and analytics.
How we collect it
- directly from you, when you fill in a form, book a call, sign up, or send us assets;
- automatically, through cookies and analytics tools when you use our website;
- from third parties, such as Google, where you grant us access to your business accounts so we can deliver your services.
Why we use it
We use your personal information to:
- provide, build and run the services and website you have engaged us for;
- process payments and manage your account;
- communicate with you about your services and respond to enquiries;
- send you updates or marketing about our services, which you can opt out of at any time;
- improve our services and meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us deliver our services, and only as needed. These are Stripe (payments), Google (analytics and business tools), Microsoft Clarity (website analytics), Meta (Facebook and Instagram advertising), Calendly (booking calls), Brevo (email), ClickSend (text messages) and Cloudways (website hosting), plus the workflow tools we use to run the business. Each handles your information under their own terms.
Information we handle for our clients
We work for trade businesses. As part of that work we handle their customers' details, such as website enquiries, call records and the names and mobiles used for review requests. We only use those details to deliver services to that business. If you are a customer of one of our clients and have a question about your information, please contact that business first. We will help them answer it.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and analytics to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it. We use Google Analytics, which counts visits and shows which pages people use, and Microsoft Clarity, which records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement so we can see where the site is confusing. We also use the Meta pixel, which tells Facebook and Instagram when someone visits or enquires so we can measure our ads and show them to the right people. When you send an enquiry or book a call, we may share your phone number, name and suburb with Meta in scrambled (hashed) form for the same reason. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how the site works.
Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers store or process information overseas (for example, in the United States). Where we disclose your information to an overseas provider, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Storage and security
We hold personal information in secure systems and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
Access and correction
You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Complaints
If you have a privacy concern or complaint, contact us first and we will work to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, is always the one published on this page.
